To Make Better Deal Decisions
We Help Create, Protect and Optimize Enterprise Value.™
On-Demand Due Diligence
Our professionals have extensive experience in providing M&A Due Diligence to help Private Equity and Corporate Development clients assess and evaluate risks associated with transactions. We help investors make better deal decisions by assisting them in performing due diligence, assessing cost reduction and revenue growth opportunities to determine a target company’s potential. In analyzing a prospective buyout target or investment opportunity, they bring industry and functional expertise that includes:
- Human Resources
- Supply Chain
Taking a consultative approach, we can conduct fieldwork, such as interviewing customers, suppliers, and competitors. We can then combine this information with financial analysis to build a thorough understanding of the investment's projected cash flow potential. Finally, as part of the due diligence process, we help clients develop an agenda for creating value once the deal is closed.
Our national presence and extensive experience allow us to help clients quickly develop an accurate assessment of key performance issues, including relevant market benchmarks, cash flow drivers, customer trends and exit options. Our professionals can also conduct a thorough internal assessment, interviewing the target company's management, as well as reviewing its personnel, customer base and operations.
Due Diligence Management Office (DMO)
For large or complex transactions, the establishment of a DMO may be necessary to manage planning and progress tracking, while maintaining control over the many aspects of the due diligence process. Having a DMO in place will provide a structured process that includes creating standard methodologies and tools. Well-planned and effective due diligence is critical to making informed decisions to drive successful outcomes for M&A activities.
The DMO is responsible for overseeing functional work streams (e.g., finance, HR, operations, audit, IT, environment, legal, tax, etc.). Each work stream leader represents their respective functional area as part of the DMO management team. The DMO is also responsible for identifying milestones, coordinating activities and identifying any potential issues or risks.
