Lee has over 35 years of leadership experience in computer software and hardware, product distribution, service, and not-for-profit industries. This includes executive management, business development, sales, consulting, project planning, financial management, operations management, and software development. His previous roles included: accountant, controller, software developer, system administrator, data processing manager, operations manager, sales engineer, sales and marketing director, COO and CEO. He has a career-long reputation for improving business processes and enhancing internal and external relationships.
His recent engagements include project delivery for large (>$7B) and small (<$1M) organizations and interim executive assignments (COO, CEO) in both start-up and turnaround situations. Lee has served on several not-for-profit boards including the Houston Chapter of SAVE International (Value Engineering Society), the Project Management Institute - Houston Chapter, 1960 North Houston Toastmasters, and the North Houston Project Management Toastmasters. In 2010-2011 Lee served as Executive Director of a 22,000-member alumni association and in 2014, served as Chairman of the Board and President of the Project Management Institute - Houston Chapter, a membership organization with over 4000 members.
Lee founded and served as Chair of the Houston Biotechnology Forum, a community of researchers, professors, grad students, commercialization professionals and others who are active in the development of new biotechnology breakthroughs and bringing them to market.
